Jesus said to them, “I will also ask you one question; if you tell me the answer, then I will also tell you by what authority I do these things.


But if we say, ‘Of human origin,’ we are afraid of the crowd, for all regard John as a prophet.”


But they were silent. So Jesus took him and healed him and sent him away.


They discussed it with one another, saying, “If we say, ‘From heaven,’ he will say, ‘Why did you not believe him?’


(John testified to him and cried out, “This was he of whom I said, ‘He who comes after me ranks ahead of me because he was before me.’ ”)


There was a man sent from God whose name was John.


Those who believe in him are not condemned, but those who do not believe are condemned already because they have not believed in the name of the only Son of God.


whenever our hearts condemn us, for God is greater than our hearts, and he knows everything.
