You deliver a humble people, but your eyes are upon the haughty to bring them down.


Then the king said to Haman, “Quickly, take the robes and the horse, as you have said, and do so to Mordecai the Jew who sits at the king’s gate. Leave out nothing that you have mentioned.”


When others are humiliated, you say it is pride, for he saves the humble.


For though the Lord is high, he regards the lowly, but the haughty he perceives from far away.


For you deliver a humble people, but the haughty eyes you bring down.


The fear of the Lord is instruction in wisdom, and humility goes before honor.

Let the brother or sister of humble means boast in having a high position


Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will exalt you.
