Awake, awake, put on strength, O arm of the Lord! Awake, as in days of old, the generations of long ago! Was it not you who cut Rahab in pieces, who pierced the dragon?


See, the Lord’s arm is not too short to save, nor his ear too dull to hear.


We have long been like those whom you do not rule, like those not called by your name.


Your words were found, and I ate them, and your words became to me a joy and the delight of my heart, for I am called by your name, O Lord, God of hosts.


Indeed, Israel and Judah have not been forsaken by their God, the Lord of hosts, though their land is full of guilt before the Holy One of Israel.


Listen! The cry of the daughter of my people from far and wide in the land: “Is the Lord not in Zion? Is her King not in her?” (“Why have they provoked me to anger with their images, with their foreign idols?”)


Why have you forgotten us completely? Why have you forsaken us these many days?


The circumference of the city shall be eighteen thousand cubits. And the name of the city from that time on shall be, The Lord Is There.


O Lord, how long shall I cry for help, and you will not listen? Or cry to you “Violence!” and you will not save?


For I will be a wall of fire all around it, says the Lord, and I will be the glory within it.”


Thus says the Lord: I will return to Zion and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem; Jerusalem shall be called the faithful city, and the mountain of the Lord of hosts shall be called the holy mountain.


The Lord said to Moses, “Is the Lord’s power limited? Now you shall see whether my word will come true for you or not.”


so that all other peoples may seek the Lord— even all the gentiles over whom my name has been called. Thus says the Lord, who has been making these things


What agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God, as God said, “I will live in them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.


Because the Lord your God travels along with your camp, to save you and to hand over your enemies to you, therefore your camp must be holy, so that he may not see anything indecent among you and turn away from you.


All the peoples of the earth shall see that you are called by the name of the Lord, and they shall be afraid of you.


Keep your lives free from the love of money, and be content with what you have, for he himself has said, “I will never leave you or forsake you.”


And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “See, the home of God is among mortals. He will dwell with them; they will be his peoples, and God himself will be with them and be their God;


For the Lord will not cast away his people, for his great name’s sake, because it has pleased the Lord to make you a people for himself.
