He said to them, “Listen to this dream that I dreamed.


Now Joseph was governor over the land; it was he who sold to all the people of the land. And Joseph’s brothers came and bowed themselves before him with their faces to the ground.


Joseph also remembered the dreams that he had dreamed about them. He said to them, “You are spies; you have come to see the nakedness of the land!”


When Joseph came home, they brought him the present that they had carried into the house and bowed to the ground before him.


They said, “Your servant our father is well; he is still alive.” And they bowed their heads and did obeisance.


Judah and his brothers came to Joseph’s house while he was still there, and they fell to the ground before him.


Then Judah stepped up to him and said, “O my lord, let your servant please speak a word in my lord’s ears, and do not be angry with your servant, for you are like Pharaoh himself.


My lord asked his servants, saying, ‘Have you a father or a brother?’


Then his brothers also wept, fell down before him, and said, “We are here as your slaves.”


so that at the name given to Jesus every knee should bend, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,


He is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that he might come to have first place in everything.
