Or are we provoking the Lord to jealousy? Are we stronger than he?


for the day of vengeance and recompense, for the time when their foot shall slip? Because the day of their calamity is at hand; their doom comes swiftly.


who gave himself a ransom for all —this was attested at the right time.


in due time he revealed his word through the proclamation with which I have been entrusted by the command of God our Savior,


Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will exalt you.


Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.


As an example of suffering and patience, brothers and sisters, take the prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord.
