But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, boast not, and lie not against the truth.

Your boasting is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump?

For I fear, lest, when I come, I shall not find you such as I would, and that I shall be found unto you such as ye would not: lest there be debates, envyings, wraths, strifes, backbitings, whisperings, swellings, tumults:

But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.

Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,

Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of Yahweh.

Let us not be desirous of vain boasting, provoking one another, envying one another.

For neither they themselves who are circumcised keep the law; but desire to have you circumcised, that they may boast in your flesh.

Some indeed preach the Messiah even of envy and strife; and some also of good will:

Let nothing be done through strife or vain boasting; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.

Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings,

For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.

Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.

For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.

Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him;
