If my steps have turned out of the way, and my heart has followed my eyes, or any stain clings to my hands,

I have seen all things that are done under the sun, and behold, all is vanity and a chase after wind.

Long ago you broke your yoke, you tore off your bonds. You said, “I will not serve.” On every high hill, under every green tree, you sprawled and served as a prostitute.
