People will livein it, and there will nolongerbe a curse,for Jerusalemwill dwellin security.
In that daythissongwill be sungin the landof Judah:"We have a strongcity;He setsup wallsand rampartsfor security.
"Violencewill not be heardagainin your land,Nordevastationor destructionwithin your borders;But you will callyour wallssalvation,and your gatespraise.
"For justas the newheavensand the newearthWhichI makewill endurebeforeMe," declaresthe LORD,"Soyour offspringand your namewill endure.
"And the wholevalleyof the deadbodiesand of the ashes,and allthe fieldsas faras the brookKidron,to the cornerof the HorseGatetoward the east,shall be holyto the LORD;it will not be pluckedup or overthrownanymoreforever."
"Behold,I will gatherthem out of allthe landsto whichI have driventhem in My anger,in My wrathand in greatindignation;and I will bringthem backto thisplaceand make them dwellin safety.
"I will makea covenantof peacewith them; it will be an everlastingcovenantwith them. And I will placethem and multiplythem, and will setMy sanctuaryin their midstforever.
Then you will knowthat I am the LORDyour God,Dwellingin Zion,My holymountain.So Jerusalemwill be holy,And strangerswill passthrough it nomore.
But Judahwill be inhabitedforeverAnd Jerusalemfor allgenerations.
"I will also plantthem on their land,And they will not againbe rootedout from their landWhichI have giventhem," Saysthe LORDyour God.
"In that dayI will makethe clansof Judahlike a firepotamong pieces of woodand a flamingtorchamong sheaves,so they will consumeon the righthandand on the leftallthe surroundingpeoples,while the inhabitantsof Jerusalemagaindwellon their own sitesin Jerusalem.
and saidto him, "Run,speakto that youngman,saying,Jerusalemwill be inhabitedwithoutwallsbecauseof the multitudeof menand cattlewithinit.
It will comeabout that justas you were a curseamong the nations,O houseof Judahand houseof Israel,soI will saveyou that you may becomea blessing.Do not fear;let your handsbe strong.'
"Thussaysthe LORDof hosts,Oldmenand oldwomenwill againsitin the streetsof Jerusalem,eachmanwith his staffin his handbecauseof age.
and I will bringthem [back] and they will livein the midstof Jerusalem;and they shall be My people,and I will be their Godin truthand righteousness.'
The LORDheardthe voiceof Israeland deliveredup the Canaanites;then they utterlydestroyedthem and their cities.Thus the nameof the placewas calledHormah.
"So Israeldwellsin security,The fountainof Jacobsecluded,In a landof grainand newwine;His heavensalsodropdowndew.
and He will wipe awayeverytearfrom their eyes;and there will nolongerbe [any] death;there will nolongerbe [any] mourning,orcrying,orpain;the first thingshave passed away."
There will nolongerbe anycurse;and the throneof Godand of the Lambwill be in it, and His bond-servantswill serveHim;
