So they answeredthe angelof the LORDwho was standingamongthe myrtletreesand said,"We have patrolledthe earth,and behold,allthe earthis peacefuland quiet."
The LORDsaidto Satan,"From wheredo you come?"Then Satanansweredthe LORDand said,"From roamingabouton the earthand walkingaroundon it."
The chariotsof Godare myriads,thousandsupon thousands;The Lordis among them [as at] Sinai,in holiness.
"The wholeearthis at rest[and] is quiet;They breakforthinto shoutsof joy.
Then he said,"Do you understandwhyI cameto you? But I shall nowreturnto fightagainstthe princeof Persia;so I am goingforth,and behold,the princeof Greeceis about to come.
And the manwho was standingamongthe myrtletreesansweredand said,"Theseare those whomthe LORDhas sentto patrolthe earth."
"But I am veryangrywith the nationswho are at ease;for while I was only a littleangry,they furtheredthe disaster."
I sawat night,and behold,a manwas ridingon a redhorse,and he was standingamongthe myrtletreeswhichwere in the ravine,with red,sorreland whitehorsesbehindhim.
"When the strongoneswentout, they were eagerto goto patrolthe earth."And He said,"Go,patrolthe earth."So they patrolledthe earth.
"The Sonof Manwill send forthHis angels,and they will gatherout of His kingdomallstumbling blocks,and thosewho commitlawlessness,
"Soit will be at the endof the age;the angelswill come forthand takeout the wickedfrom amongthe righteous,
"But whenthe Sonof Mancomesin His glory,and allthe angelswith Him, thenHe will siton His gloriousthrone.
Whilethey are saying,"Peaceand safety!"thendestructionwill comeupon them suddenlylikelabor painsupon a woman with child,and they will not escape.
and [to give] reliefto you who are afflictedand to us as well whenthe LordJesuswill be revealedfrom heavenwith His mightyangelsin flamingfire,
