For whatthe Lawcouldnot do, weakas it was throughthe flesh,God[did]: sendingHis ownSonin the likenessof sinfulfleshand [as an offering] for sin,He condemnedsinin the flesh,
and throughHim everyonewho believesis freedfrom all things,from whichyou couldnot be freedthroughthe Lawof Moses.
Christredeemedus from the curseof the Law,having becomea cursefor us-- for it is written,"CURSEDIS EVERYONEWHO HANGSON A TREE"--
He madeHim who knewnosin[to be] sinon our behalf,sothat we might becomethe righteousnessof Godin Him.
For by oneofferingHe has perfectedfor all timethosewho are sanctified.
and He Himselfboreour sinsin His bodyon the cross,sothat we might dieto sinand liveto righteousness;for by His woundsyou were healed.
knowingthis,that our oldselfwas crucifiedwith [Him], in orderthat our bodyof sinmight be done awaywith, so that we would no longerbe slavesto sin;
Is the Lawthencontraryto the promisesof God?May it neverbe! For ifa lawhad been givenwhich was ableto impart life,then righteousnesswould indeedhave beenbasedon law.
He whodid not spareHis ownSon,but deliveredHim over for us all,howwill He not alsowith Him freely giveus all things?
becauseby the worksof the Lawnofleshwill be justifiedin His sight;for throughthe Law[comes] the knowledgeof sin.
Therefore,sincethe childrensharein fleshand blood,He Himselflikewisealsopartookof the same,that throughdeathHe might render powerlesshim who hadthe powerof death,that is, the devil,
but emptiedHimself,takingthe formof a bond-servant,[and] being madein the likenessof men.
but He, having offeredonesacrificefor sinsfor all time,SAT DOWNAT THE RIGHT HANDOF GOD,
For we do not havea high priestwhocannotsympathizewith our weaknesses,but One whohas been temptedin all thingsas [we are, yet] withoutsin.
Therefore,He hadto be made likeHis brethrenin all things,sothat He might becomea mercifuland faithfulhigh priestin things pertainingto God,to make propitiationfor the sinsof the people.
For I could wishthat I myselfwere accursed,[separated] from Christfor the sakeof my brethren,my kinsmenaccordingto the flesh,
And the Wordbecameflesh,and dweltamongus, and we sawHis glory,gloryas of the only begottenfrom the Father,fullof graceand truth.
Soa second timethey calledthe manwhohad beenblind,and saidto him, "Givegloryto God;we knowthat thismanis a sinner."
They crucifiedtworobberswith Him, oneon His rightand oneon His left.
and onemalegoatfor a sinofferingto makeatonementfor you.
For I knowthat nothinggooddwellsin me, that is, in my flesh;for the willingis presentin me, but the doingof the good[is] not.
And Mosesmadea bronzeserpentand setit on the standard;and it cameabout, that ifa serpentbitanyman,when he lookedto the bronzeserpent,he lived.
