For the promiseto Abrahamorto his descendantsthat he would be heirof the worldwas not throughthe Law,but throughthe righteousnessof faith.
And I will blessthose who blessyou, And the one who cursesyou I will curse.And in you allthe familiesof the earthwill be blessed."
"I will blessher, and indeedI will giveyou a sonby her. Then I will blessher, and she shall be [a mother of] nations;kingsof peopleswill comefrom her."
"Your descendantswill also be like the dustof the earth,and you will spreadout to the westand to the eastand to the northand to the south;and in you and in your descendantsshall allthe familiesof the earthbe blessed.
"The sceptershall not departfrom Judah,Northe ruler'sstafffrom betweenhis feet,UntilShilohcomes,And to him [shall be] the obedienceof the peoples.
Askof Me, and I will surely givethe nationsas Your inheritance,And the [very] endsof the earthas Your possession.
And let allkingsbowdownbefore him, Allnationsservehim.
"And we preach to you the good newsof the promisemadeto the fathers,
and the fatherof circumcisionto thosewho not onlyare of the circumcision,but who alsofollowin the stepsof the faithof our fatherAbrahamwhich he had while uncircumcised.
That is, it is not the childrenof the fleshwhoare childrenof God,but the childrenof the promiseare regardedas descendants.
And ifyou belong to Christ,thenyou are Abraham'sdescendants,heirsaccordingto promise.
By faithNoah,being warned[by God] aboutthings not yetseen,in reverencepreparedan arkfor the salvationof his household,by whichhe condemnedthe world,and becamean heirof the righteousnesswhich is accordingto faith.
But the one whose genealogy is not tracedfrom them collected a tenthfrom Abrahamand blessedthe one who hadthe promises.
