For Godwill bringeveryactto judgment,everythingwhich is hidden,whetherit is goodor evil.
I saidto myself,"Godwill judgeboth the righteousmanand the wickedman,"for a timefor everymatterand for everydeedis there.
"For the Sonof Manis goingto comein the gloryof His Fatherwith His angels,and WILL THENREPAYEVERY MANACCORDINGTO HIS DEEDS.
"For nothingis hiddenthat will not becomeevident,nor[anything] secretthat will not be knownand cometo light.
"He who rejectsMe and does not receiveMy sayings,hasone who judgeshim; the wordI spokeis whatwill judgehim at the lastday.
"And He orderedus to preachto the people,and solemnly to testifythat thisis the One who has been appointedby Godas Judgeof the livingand the dead.
becauseHe has fixeda dayin whichHe willjudgethe worldin righteousnessthrougha ManwhomHe has appointed,having furnishedproofto all menby raisingHim from the dead."
Nowto Him who is ableto establishyou accordingto my gospeland the preachingof JesusChrist,accordingto the revelationof the mysterywhich has been kept secretfor long agespast,
But becauseof your stubbornnessand unrepentantheartyou are storingup wrathfor yourselfin the dayof wrathand revelationof the righteous judgmentof God,
May it neverbe! For otherwise,howwill Godjudgethe world?
NowI make knownto you, brethren,the gospelwhichI preachedto you, whichalsoyou received,in whichalsoyou stand,
Thereforedo not go on passing judgmentbeforethe time,[but wait] untilthe Lordcomeswhowill bothbring to lightthe things hiddenin the darknessand disclosethe motivesof [men's] hearts;and theneach man'spraisewill cometo him from God.
For we mustallappearbeforethe judgment seatof Christ,sothat each onemay be recompensedfor his deeds in the body,accordingto whathe has done,whethergoodorbad.
For I would have you know,brethren,that the gospelwhich was preachedby me is not accordingto man.
accordingto the gloriousgospelof the blessedGod,with whichI have been entrusted.
RememberJesusChrist,risenfrom the dead,descendantof David,accordingto my gospel,
I solemnly charge[you] in the presenceof Godand of ChristJesus,who is to judgethe livingand the dead,and by His appearingand His kingdom:
in the futurethere is laidup for me the crownof righteousness,whichthe Lord,the righteousJudge,will awardto me on that day;and not onlyto me, but alsoto allwho have lovedHis appearing.
And inasmuchas it is appointedfor mento dieonceand afterthis[comes] judgment,
but they will giveaccountto Him who is readyto judgethe livingand the dead.
[then] the Lordknows howto rescuethe godlyfrom temptation,and to keepthe unrighteousunder punishmentfor the dayof judgment,
