[Do] this,knowingthe time,that it is alreadythe hourfor you to awakenfrom sleep;for nowsalvationis nearerto us thanwhenwe believed.
The endof all thingsis near;therefore,be of sound judgmentand sober[spirit] for the purpose of prayer.
For this reasonit says,"Awake,sleeper,And arisefrom the dead,And Christwill shineon you."
Become sober-mindedas you ought,and stopsinning;for somehaveno knowledgeof God.I speak[this] to your shame.
He who testifiesto these thingssays,"Yes,I am comingquickly."Amen.Come,LordJesus.
"But when these thingsbeginto take place,straightenup and liftup your heads,becauseyour redemptionis drawing near."
"Behold,I am comingquickly,and My reward[is] with Me, to renderto every manaccordingto what he has done.
Whateveryour handfindsto do,do[it] with [all] your might;for thereis noactivityor planningor knowledgeor wisdomin Sheolwhereyou are going.
So the captainapproachedhim and said,"Howis it that you are sleeping?Getup, callon your god.Perhaps[your] godwill be concernedabout us so that we will not perish."
Nowthese thingshappenedto them as an example,and they were writtenfor our instruction,upon whomthe endsof the ageshave come.
"And in the morning,'[There will be] a stormtoday,for the skyis redand threatening.'Do you know howto discernthe appearanceof the sky,but cannot[discern] the signsof the times?
You toobe patient;strengthenyour hearts,for the comingof the Lordis near.
The Lordis not slowabout His promise,as somecountslowness,but is patienttowardyou, not wishingfor anyto perishbut for allto cometo repentance.
Since allthese thingsare to be destroyedin this way,what sortof people oughtyou to be in holyconductand godliness,
Children,it is the lasthour;and justas you heardthat antichristis coming,evennowmanyantichristshave appeared;from thiswe knowthat it is the lasthour.
Blessedis he who readsand thosewho hearthe wordsof the prophecy,and heedthe things which are writtenin it; for the timeis near.
And he saidto me, "Do not sealup the wordsof the prophecyof thisbook,for the timeis near.
