contributingto the needsof the saints,practicinghospitality.
And do not neglectdoing goodand sharing,for with suchsacrificesGodis pleased.
For the ministryof thisserviceis not onlyfully supplyingthe needsof the saints,but is alsooverflowingthroughmanythanksgivingsto God.
But whoeverhasthe world'sgoods,and seeshis brotherin needand closeshis heartagainsthim, howdoes the loveof Godabidein him?
For Godis not unjustso as to forgetyour workand the lovewhichyou have showntowardHis name,in having ministeredand in still ministeringto the saints.
Be hospitableto one anotherwithoutcomplaint.
So then,whilewe haveopportunity,let us dogoodto all people,and especiallyto thosewho are of the householdof the faith.
Do not neglectto show hospitality to strangers,for by thissomehave entertainedangelswithout knowingit.
An overseer,then,mustbe above reproach,the husbandof onewife,temperate,prudent,respectable,hospitable,able to teach,
having a reputationfor goodworks;[and] ifshe has brought up children,ifshe has shown hospitality to strangers,ifshe has washedthe saints'feet,ifshe has assistedthose in distress,[and] ifshe has devoted herselfto everygoodwork.
For I was hungry,and you gaveMe [something] to eat;I was thirsty,and you gave Me [something] to drink;I was a stranger,and you invitedMe in;
For I have come to havemuchjoyand comfortin your love,becausethe heartsof the saintshave been refreshedthroughyou, brother.
but hospitable,loving what is good,sensible,just,devout,self-controlled,
For it is superfluousfor me to writeto you aboutthisministryto the saints;
And fixing his gazeon him and beingmuch alarmed,he said,"Whatis it, Lord?"And he saidto him, "Your prayersand almshave ascendedas a memorialbeforeGod.
and laythem at the apostles'feet,and they would be distributedto eachas anyhadneed.
NowI urgeyou, brethren(you knowthe householdof Stephanas,that they were the first fruitsof Achaia,and that they have devotedthemselvesfor ministryto the saints),
orhe who exhorts,in his exhortation;he who gives,with liberality;he who leads,with diligence;he who shows mercy,with cheerfulness.
How blessedis he who considersthe helpless;The LORDwill deliverhim in a dayof trouble.
honey,curds,sheep,and cheeseof the herd,for Davidand for the peoplewho[were] with him, to eat;for they said,"The peopleare hungryand wearyand thirstyin the wilderness."
"Please,let us makea littlewalledupperchamberand let us seta bedfor him there,and a tableand a chairand a lampstand;and it shall be, when he comesto us, [that] he can turnin there."
She extendsher handto the poor,And she stretchesout her handsto the needy.
Our peoplemust alsolearnto engagein gooddeedsto meet pressingneeds,sothat they will not be unfruitful.
Beloved,you are actingfaithfullyin whateveryou accomplishfor the brethren,and especially[when they are] strangers;
