"It is the livingwho givethanksto You, as I do today;A fathertellshis sonsaboutYour faithfulness.
Tellyour sonsabout it, And [let] your sons[tell] their sons,And their sonsthe nextgeneration.
"You shall teachthem to your sons,talkingof them when you sitin your houseand when you walkalong the roadand when you liedownand when you riseup.
"Onlygiveheedto yourself and keepyour souldiligently,sothat you do not forgetthe thingswhichyour eyeshave seenand they do not departfrom your heartallthe daysof your life;but makethem knownto your sonsand your grandsons.
You shall teachthem diligentlyto your sonsand shall talkof them when you sitin your houseand when you walkby the wayand when you liedownand when you riseup.
