We do not seeour signs;Thereis nolongerany prophet,Noris there any amongus who knowshowlong.
The bloodshall be a signfor you on the houseswhereyou live; and when I seethe bloodI will passoveryou, and noplaguewill befallyou to destroy[you] when I strikethe landof Egypt.
Her gateshave sunkinto the ground,He has destroyedand brokenher bars.Her kingand her princesare among the nations;The lawis nomore.Also,her prophetsfindNovisionfrom the LORD.
"AlsoI gavethem My sabbathsto be a signbetweenMe and them, that they might knowthat I am the LORDwho sanctifiesthem.
Disasterwill comeupon disasterand rumorwill be [added] to rumor;then they will seeka visionfrom a prophet,but the lawwill be lostfrom the priestand counselfrom the elders.
"Behold,daysare coming,"declaresthe LordGOD,"When I will senda famineon the land,Not a faminefor breador a thirstfor water,But ratherfor hearingthe wordsof the LORD.
Therefore[it will be] nightfor you-- withoutvision,And darknessfor you-- withoutdivination.The sunwill godown on the prophets,And the daywill becomedarkoverthem.
The seerswill be ashamedAnd the divinerswill be embarrassed.Indeed, they will allcover[their] mouthsBecausethereis noanswerfrom God.
Godalso testifyingwith them, bothby signsand wondersand by variousmiraclesand by giftsof the HolySpiritaccordingto His own will.
So Gideon saidto Him, "IfnowI have foundfavorin Your sight,then showme a signthat it is You who speakwith me.
Now the boySamuelwas ministeringto the LORDbeforeEli.And wordfrom the LORDwas rarein thosedays,visionswere infrequent.
