The perversein heartare an abominationto the LORD,But the blamelessin [their] walkare His delight.
Afterthesethingsthe wordof the LORDcameto Abramin a vision,saying,"Do not fear,Abram,I am a shieldto you; Your rewardshall be verygreat."
For the uprightwill livein the landAnd the blamelesswill remainin it;
His descendantswill be mightyon earth;The generationof the uprightwill be blessed.
For our shieldbelongs to the LORD,And our kingto the HolyOneof Israel.
But You, O LORD,are a shieldaboutme, My glory,and the One who liftsmy head.
Ifyou are pureand upright,SurelynowHe would rouseHimself for you And restoreyour righteousestate.

But, O LORDof hosts,who judgesrighteously,Who triesthe feelingsand the heart,Let me seeYour vengeanceon them, For to You have I committedmy cause.
