He declaresHis wordsto Jacob,His statutesand His ordinancesto Israel.
"Rememberthe lawof MosesMy servant,[even the] statutesand ordinanceswhichI commandedhim in Horebfor allIsrael.
For He establisheda testimonyin JacobAnd appointeda lawin Israel,WhichHe commandedour fathersThat they should teachthem to their children,
But as for you, standhereby Me, that I may speakto you allthe commandmentsand the statutesand the judgmentswhichyou shall teachthem, that they may observe[them] in the landwhichI givethem to possess.'
"Thesewordsthe LORDspoketo allyour assemblyat the mountainfrom the midstof the fire,[of] the cloudand [of] the thickgloom,with a greatvoice,and He addednomore.He wrotethem on twotabletsof stoneand gavethem to me.
"Now,O Israel,listento the statutesand the judgmentswhichI am teachingyou to perform,sothat you may liveand goin and takepossessionof the landwhichthe LORD,the Godof your fathers,is givingyou.
whoare Israelites,to whombelongs the adoption as sons,and the gloryand the covenantsand the giving of the Lawand the [temple] serviceand the promises,
Greatin everyrespect.First of all,that they were entrustedwith the oraclesof God.
He madeknownHis waysto Moses,His actsto the sonsof Israel.
Godis knownin Judah;His nameis greatin Israel.
theseare the testimoniesand the statutesand the ordinanceswhichMosesspoketo the sonsof Israel,when they cameout from Egypt,
"Or whatgreatnationis there that has statutesand judgmentsas righteousas thiswholelawwhichI am settingbeforeyou today?
"Now thisis the commandment,the statutesand the judgmentswhichthe LORDyour Godhas commanded[me] to teachyou, that you might do[them] in the landwhereyou are goingoverto possessit,
ThisEzrawentup from Babylon,and he was a scribeskilledin the lawof Moses,whichthe LORDGodof Israelhad given;and the kinggrantedhim allhe requestedbecause the handof the LORDhis God[was] upon him.
"I gavethem My statutesand informedthem of My ordinances,by which,if a manobservesthem, he will live.
Though I wrotefor him tenthousand[precepts] of My law,They are regardedas a strangething.
