"I will establishMy covenantbetweenMe and you and your descendantsafteryou throughout their generationsfor an everlastingcovenant,to be Godto you and to your descendantsafteryou.
But Joabsaidto the king,"Now may the LORDyour Godaddto the peoplea hundredtimesas many as they are, while the eyesof my lordthe king[still] see;but whydoes my lordthe kingdelightin thisthing?"
In the days to comeJacobwill takeroot,Israelwill blossomand sprout,And they will fillthe wholeworldwith fruit.
The LordGOD,who gathersthe dispersedof Israel,declares,"Yet[others] I will gatherto them, to those [already] gathered."
From them will proceedthanksgivingAnd the voiceof those who celebrate;And I will multiplythem and they will not be diminished;I will also honorthem and they will not be insignificant.
As the hostof heavencannotbe countedand the sandof the seacannotbe measured,soI will multiplythe descendantsof DavidMy servantand the Leviteswho ministerto Me.'"
Yet the numberof the sonsof IsraelWill be like the sandof the sea,Whichcannotbe measuredor numbered;And in the placeWhereit is saidto them, "You are not My people,"It will be saidto them, "[You are] the sonsof the livingGod."
"I will whistlefor them to gatherthem together, For I have redeemedthem; And they will be as numerousas they were before.
"For the promiseis for you and your childrenand for allwhoare far off,as manyas the Lordour Godwill callto Himself."
"It is you who are the sonsof the prophetsand of the covenantwhichGodmadewith your fathers,sayingto Abraham,AND IN YOUR SEEDALLTHE FAMILIESOF THE EARTHSHALL BE BLESSED.'
May the LORD,the Godof your fathers,increaseyou a thousand-foldmorethan you are and blessyou, justas He has promisedyou!
And I heardthe numberof thosewho were sealed,one hundredand forty-fourthousandsealedfrom everytribeof the sonsof Israel:
Afterthese thingsI looked,and behold,a greatmultitudewhichno onecouldcount,from everynationand [all] tribesand peoplesand tongues,standingbeforethe throneand beforethe Lamb,clothedin whiterobes,and palm branches[were] in their hands;
