When He setfor the seaits boundarySo that the waterwould not transgressHis command,When He markedout the foundationsof the earth;
"He has inscribeda circleon the surfaceof the watersAt the boundaryof lightand darkness.
He establishedthe earthupon its foundations,So that it will not totterforeverand ever.
You seta boundarythat they may not passover,So that they will not returnto coverthe earth.
To Him who madethe heavenswith skill,For His lovingkindnessis everlasting;
He gathersthe watersof the seatogether as a heap;He laysup the deepsin storehouses.
The LORDby wisdomfoundedthe earth,By understandingHe establishedthe heavens.
When He madefirmthe skiesabove,When the springsof the deepbecamefixed,
Do you not fearMe?' declaresthe LORD.'Do you not tremblein My presence?For I have placedthe sandas a boundaryfor the sea,An eternaldecree,so it cannotcrossoverit. Though the wavestoss,yet they cannotprevail;Though they roar,yet they cannotcrossoverit.
