By the wordof the LORDthe heavenswere made,And by the breathof His mouthalltheir host.
The LORDby wisdomfoundedthe earth,By understandingHe establishedthe heavens.
WhileHe had not yet madethe earthand the fields,Northe firstdustof the world.
When He madefirmthe skiesabove,When the springsof the deepbecamefixed,
Like a shepherdHe will tendHis flock,In His armHe will gatherthe lambsAnd carry[them] in His bosom;He will gently leadthe nursing[ewes].
It is He who sitsabovethe circleof the earth,And its inhabitantsare like grasshoppers,Who stretchesout the heavenslike a curtainAnd spreadsthem out like a tentto dwellin.
[It is] He who madethe earthby His power,Who establishedthe worldby His wisdom;And by His understandingHe has stretchedout the heavens.
For by Him allthingswere created,[both] in the heavensand on earth,visibleand invisible,whetherthronesordominionsorrulersorauthorities--all thingshave been createdthroughHim and for Him.
in theselastdayshas spokento us in His Son,whomHe appointedheirof all things,throughwhomalsoHe madethe world.
