When JoramsawJehu,he said,"Is it peace,Jehu?"And he answered,"Whatpeace,solongas the harlotriesof your motherJezebeland her witchcraftsare so many?"
When Jehucameto Jezreel,Jezebelheard[of it], and she paintedher eyesand adornedher headand lookedout the window.
Surelyshe lurksas a robber,And increasesthe faithlessamong men.
Take[your] harp,walkaboutthe city,O forgottenharlot;Pluckthe stringsskillfully,sing manysongs,That you may be remembered.

Likewise,[I want] womento adornthemselveswith properclothing,modestlyand discreetly,not with braided hairand goldorpearlsorcostlygarments,
