Howthey are destroyedin a moment!They are utterlysweptawayby suddenterrors!
You will not be afraidof the terrorby night,Or of the arrowthat fliesby day;
When your dreadcomeslike a stormAnd your calamitycomeslike a whirlwind,When distressand anguishcomeupon you.
"In righteousnessyou will be established;You will be farfrom oppression,for you will not fear;And from terror,for it will not comenearyou.
Eachof them will situnderhis vineAnd underhis figtree,With nooneto make[them] afraid,For the mouthof the LORDof hostshas spoken.
But I will camparound My housebecauseof an army,Becauseof him who passesby and returns;And nooppressorwill passoverthem anymore,For nowI have seenwith My eyes.
"Thereforewhenyou seethe ABOMINATIONOF DESOLATIONwhich was spokenof throughDanielthe prophet,standingin the holyplace(let the readerunderstand),
"You willbe hearingof warsand rumorsof wars.Seethat you are not frightened,for [those things] musttake place,but [that] is not yetthe end.
And He saidto them, "Whyare you afraid?Do you stillhavenofaith?"
"Whenyou hearof warsand disturbances,do not be terrified;for these thingsmusttake placefirst,but the end[does] not [follow] immediately."
"Do not let your heartbe troubled;believein God,believealsoin Me.
But evenifyou should sufferfor the sakeof righteousness,you are blessed.AND DO NOT FEARTHEIR INTIMIDATION,AND DO NOT BE TROUBLED,
