When I saw,I reflectedupon it; I looked,[and] receivedinstruction.
"Whatis manthat You magnifyhim, And that You are concernedabouthim,
Tremble,and do not sin;Meditatein your heartupon your bed,and be still.Selah.
And behold,it was completelyovergrownwith thistles;Its surfacewas coveredwith nettles,And its stonewallwas brokendown.
"A littlesleep,a littleslumber,A littlefoldingof the handsto rest,"
But Marytreasuredallthesethings,ponderingthem in her heart.
And He went downwith them and cameto Nazareth,and He continued in subjectionto them; and His mothertreasuredall[these] thingsin her heart.
Nowthese thingshappenedto them as an example,and they were writtenfor our instruction,upon whomthe endsof the ageshave come.
Nowthese thingshappenedas examplesfor us, sothat we would not craveevil thingsas they alsocraved.
"Then allIsraelwill hearand be afraid,and will neveragaindosucha wickedthingamongyou.
"Then allthe menof his cityshall stonehim to death;so you shall removethe evilfrom your midst,and allIsraelwill hear[of it] and fear.
"Wouldthat they were wise,that they understoodthis,That they would discerntheir future!
