A lazymandoes not roasthis prey,But the preciouspossessionof a man[is] diligence.
The wayof the lazyis as a hedgeof thorns,But the pathof the uprightis a highway.
Lazinesscastsinto a deepsleep,And an idlemanwill sufferhunger.
The desireof the sluggardputshim to death,For his handsrefuseto work;
And He answered,"He who dippedhis handwith Me in the bowlis the onewho will betrayMe.
