The tongueof the righteousis [as] choicesilver,The heartof the wickedis [worth] little.
Then the LORDsawthat the wickednessof manwas greaton the earth, and that everyintentof the thoughtsof his heartwas onlyevilcontinually.
The LORDsmelledthe soothingaroma;and the LORDsaidto Himself,"I will neveragaincursethe groundon accountof man,for the intentof man'sheartis evilfrom his youth;and I will neveragaindestroyeverylivingthing,as I have done.

A soothingtongueis a treeof life,But perversionin it crushesthe spirit.

Thereis gold, and an abundanceof jewels; But the lipsof knowledgeare a morepreciousthing.
For as he thinkswithin himself, sohe is. He saysto you, "Eatand drink!"But his heartis not with you.
"My fruitis betterthangold,even puregold,And my yield[better] thanchoicestsilver.
"The heartis moredeceitfulthanallelse And is desperatelysick;Whocan understandit?
