Listento counseland acceptdiscipline,That you may be wisethe restof your days.
Thenyou will discernrighteousnessand justiceAnd equity[and] everygoodcourse.
Hear,[O] sons,the instructionof a father,And giveattentionthat you may gainunderstanding,
Sayto wisdom,"You are my sister,"And callunderstanding[your] intimatefriend;
