The Naziriteshall then shavehis dedicatedhead[of hair] at the doorwayof the tentof meeting,and takethe dedicatedhairof his headand put[it] on the firewhichis underthe sacrificeof peaceofferings.
He shall also offerthe ramfor a sacrificeof peaceofferingsto the LORD,togetherwith the basketof unleavenedcakes;the priestshall likewise offerits grain offeringand its drinkoffering.
Allthe daysof his vowof separationnorazorshall passoverhis head.He shall be holyuntilthe daysare fulfilledfor whichhe separatedhimself to the LORD;he shall let the locksof hairon his headgrowlong.
But ifa man diesverysuddenlybesidehim and he defileshis dedicatedhead[of hair], then he shall shavehis headon the daywhen he becomesclean;he shall shaveit on the seventhday.
"Soyou too,whenyou doall the thingswhich are commandedyou, say,'We are unworthyslaves;we have done[only] that whichwe oughtto have done.'"
Paul,having remainedmanydayslonger,took leaveof the brethrenand put out to seafor Syria,and with him were Priscillaand Aquila.In Cenchreahe had his haircut,for he was keepinga vow.
"Thereforedothisthat we tellyou. We have fourmenwho are undera vow;
takethem and purifyyourself alongwith them, and pay their expensessothat they may shavetheir heads;and allwill knowthat there is nothingto the things whichthey have been toldaboutyou, but that you yourselfalsowalk orderly,keepingthe Law.
ThenPaultookthe men,and the nextday,purifyinghimself alongwith them, wentinto the templegiving noticeof the completionof the daysof purification,untilthe sacrificewas offeredfor eachoneof them.
