and the pillarsaroundthe courtand their socketsand their pegsand their cords,with alltheir equipmentand with alltheir service;and you shall assign[each man] by namethe itemshe is to carry.
Someof them also were appointedoverthe furnitureand overallthe utensilsof the sanctuaryand overthe fineflourand the wineand the oiland the frankincenseand the spices.
"According to allthat I am going to showyou, [as] the patternof the tabernacleand the patternof allits furniture,just soyou shall construct[it].
"You shall makethe courtof the tabernacle.On the southside[there shall be] hangingsfor the courtof finetwistedlinenone hundredcubitslongfor oneside;
The socketsfor the pillars[were] of bronze,the hooksof the pillarsand their bands,of silver;and the overlayingof their tops,of silver,and allthe pillarsof the courtwere furnishedwith silverbands.
Thisis the numberof the thingsfor the tabernacle,the tabernacleof the testimony,as they were numberedaccordingto the commandof Moses,for the serviceof the Levites,by the handof Ithamarthe sonof Aaronthe priest.
Now the appointeddutiesof the sonsof Merari[involved] the framesof the tabernacle,its bars,its pillars,its sockets,allits equipment,and the serviceconcerning them,
"They shall also keepallthe furnishingsof the tentof meeting,along with the dutiesof the sonsof Israel,to dothe serviceof the tabernacle.
"Now thisis the dutyof their loads,for alltheir servicein the tentof meeting:the boardsof the tabernacleand its barsand its pillarsand its sockets,
"Thisis the serviceof the familiesof the sonsof Merari,according to alltheir servicein the tentof meeting,under the directionof Ithamarthe sonof Aaronthe priest."
Accordingto the commandmentof the LORDthroughMoses,they were numbered,everyoneby his servingor carrying;thus [these were] his numberedmen, justas the LORDhad commandedMoses.
Now on the daythat Moseshad finishedsettingup the tabernacle,he anointedit and consecratedit with allits furnishingsand the altarand allits utensils;he anointedthem and consecratedthem also.
and fourcartsand eightoxenhe gaveto the sonsof Merari,accordingto their service,under the directionof Ithamarthe sonof Aaronthe priest.
