O God,[You are] awesomefrom Your sanctuary.The Godof IsraelHimselfgivesstrengthand powerto the people.Blessedbe God!
But You have exaltedmy hornlike [that of] the wildox;I have been anointedwith freshoil.
And at the endof fourhundredand thirtyyears,to the veryday,allthe hostsof the LORDwentout from the landof Egypt.
And on that samedaythe LORDbroughtthe sonsof Israelout of the landof Egyptby their hosts.
"Then the Egyptianswill knowthat I am the LORD,when I am honoredthrough Pharaoh,through his chariotsand his horsemen."
"I am the LORDyour God,whobroughtyou out of the landof Egypt,out of the houseof slavery.
"But, indeed,for thisreasonI have allowed you to remain,in orderto showyou My powerand in orderto proclaimMy namethrough allthe earth.
Wildoxenwill also fallwith them And youngbullswith strongones;Thus their landwill be soakedwith blood,And their dustbecomegreasywith fat.
So he sentmessengersto Balaamthe sonof Beor,at Pethor,whichis nearthe River,[in] the landof the sonsof his people,to callhim, saying,"Behold,a peoplecameout of Egypt;behold,they coverthe surfaceof the land,and they are livingoppositeme.
"Godbringshim out of Egypt,He is for him like the hornsof the wildox.He will devourthe nations[who are] his adversaries,And will crushtheir bonesin pieces, And shatter[them] with his arrows.
"As the firstbornof his ox,majestyis his, And his hornsare the hornsof the wildox;With them he will pushthe peoples,Allat once,[to] the endsof the earth.And thoseare the tenthousandsof Ephraim,And thoseare the thousandsof Manasseh."
"For we have heardhowthe LORDdriedup the waterof the RedSeabeforeyou when you cameout of Egypt,and whatyou didto the twokingsof the Amoriteswhowere beyondthe Jordan,to Sihonand Og,whomyou utterlydestroyed.
