"You providedbreadfrom heavenfor them for their hunger,You broughtforthwaterfrom a rockfor them for their thirst,And You toldthem to enterin order to possessThe landwhichYou sworeto givethem.
Then Mosesand Aaroncamein from the presenceof the assemblyto the doorwayof the tentof meetingand fellon their faces.Then the gloryof the LORDappearedto them;
"Takethe rod;and you and your brotherAaronassemblethe congregationand speakto the rockbefore their eyes,that it may yieldits water.You shall thus bringforthwaterfor them out of the rockand let the congregationand their beastsdrink."
"But the LORDwas angrywith me on your account,and would not listento me; and the LORDsaidto me, 'Enough!Speakto Me nomoreof thismatter.
