Then I gavean orderand they cleansedthe rooms;and I returnedtherethe utensilsof the houseof Godwith the grain offeringsand the frankincense.
Then he saidto them, "Listento me, O Levites.Consecrateyourselves now,and consecratethe houseof the LORD,the Godof your fathers,and carrythe uncleannessout from the holyplace.
We will also bringthe firstof our dough,our contributions,the fruitof everytree,the newwineand the oilto the priestsat the chambersof the houseof our God,and the titheof our groundto the Levites,for the Levitesare they who receivethe tithesin allthe ruraltowns.
For they performedthe worshipof their Godand the serviceof purification,together with the singersand the gatekeepersin accordance with the commandof David[and] of his sonSolomon.
A chamberwith its doorwaywas by the sidepillarsat the gates;therethey rinsethe burntoffering.
