"Then you shall makeits lampsseven[in number]; and they shall mountits lampsso as to shedlighton the spacein frontof it.
He saidto me, "Whatdo you see?"And I said,"I see,and behold,a lampstandallof goldwith its bowlon the topof it, and its sevenlampson it with sevenspoutsbelonging to each of the lampswhichare on the topof it;
"Speakto Aaronand sayto him, 'When you mountthe lamps,the sevenlampswill givelightin the frontof the lampstand.'"
And He was sayingto them, "A lampis not broughtto be putundera basket,is it, orundera bed?Is it not [brought] to be puton the lampstand?
"No one,after lightinga lamp,puts it awayin a cellarnorundera basket,but on the lampstand,sothat thosewho entermay seethe light.
"Ifthereforeyour wholebodyis fullof light,with nodarkpartin it, it will be whollyillumined,as whenthe lampilluminesyou with its rays."
"Nowno oneafter lightinga lampcoversit over with a container,orputsit undera bed;but he putsit on a lampstand,sothat thosewho comein may seethe light.
sothat you will proveyourselves to be blamelessand innocent,childrenof Godabove reproachin the midstof a crookedand perversegeneration,amongwhomyou appearas lightsin the world,
For there was a tabernacleprepared,the outerone,in which[were] the lampstandand the tableand the sacredbread;thisis calledthe holy place.
Thereforerememberfrom whereyou have fallen,and repentand dothe deedsyou did at first;orelseI am comingto you and will removeyour lampstandout of its place--unlessyou repent.
