Nowthe chief priestsand the wholeCouncilkept trying to obtaintestimonyagainstJesusto put Him to death,and they were not findingany.
The womansaidto Him, "I knowthat Messiahis coming(He who is calledChrist);whenthat Onecomes,He will declareall thingsto us."
"And though they foundnogroundfor [putting Him to] death, they askedPilatethat He be executed.
