"Behold,daysare coming,"declaresthe LORD,"when I will makea newcovenantwith the houseof Israeland with the houseof Judah,
For the lifeof the fleshis in the blood,and I have givenit to you on the altarto makeatonementfor your souls;for it is the bloodby reason of the lifethat makesatonement.'
As for you also,because of the bloodof [My] covenantwith you, I have setyour prisonersfreefrom the waterlesspit.
justas the Sonof Mandid not cometo be served,but to serve,and to giveHis lifea ransomfor many."
And when He had takena cupand giventhanks,He gave[it] to them, saying,"Drinkfrom it, allof you;
"But I sayto you, I will not drinkof thisfruitof the vinefrom nowon untilthat daywhenI drinkit newwith you in My Father'skingdom."
And forgiveus our debts,as we alsohave forgivenour debtors.
Johnthe Baptistappearedin the wildernesspreachinga baptismof repentancefor the forgivenessof sins.
And He saidto them, "Thisis My bloodof the covenant,whichis pouredout for many.
And when He had taken[some] bread[and] given thanks,He brokeit and gaveit to them, saying,"Thisis My bodywhich is givenfor you; dothisin remembranceof Me."
And in the same way[He took] the cupafterthey had eaten,saying,"Thiscupwhich is pouredout for you is the newcovenantin My blood.
But the free giftis not likethe transgression.For ifby the transgressionof the onethe manydied,muchmoredid the graceof Godand the giftby the graceof the oneMan,JesusChrist,aboundto the many.
For as throughthe oneman'sdisobediencethe manywere madesinners,evensothroughthe obedienceof the Onethe manywill be maderighteous.
In the same way[He took] the cupalsoaftersupper,saying,"Thiscupis the newcovenantin My blood;dothis,as oftenas you drink[it], in remembranceof Me."
In Him we haveredemptionthroughHis blood,the forgivenessof our trespasses,accordingto the richesof His grace
in whomwe haveredemption,the forgivenessof sins.
and throughHim to reconcileall thingsto Himself,having made peacethroughthe bloodof His cross;throughHim, [I say], whetherthings on earthorthings in heaven.
How muchsevererpunishmentdo you thinkhe will deservewho has trampled under footthe Sonof God,and has regardedas uncleanthe bloodof the covenantby whichhe was sanctified,and has insultedthe Spiritof grace?
Nowthe Godof peace,who broughtup from the deadthe greatShepherdof the sheepthroughthe bloodof the eternalcovenant,[even] Jesusour Lord,
soChristalso,having been offeredonceto bearthe sinsof many,will appeara second timefor salvationwithout[reference to] sin,to thosewho eagerly awaitHim.
and He Himselfis the propitiationfor our sins;and not for oursonly,but alsofor [those of] the wholeworld.
I saidto him, "My lord,you know."And he saidto me, "Theseare the ones who comeout of the greattribulation,and they have washedtheir robesand made them whitein the bloodof the Lamb.
Afterthese thingsI looked,and behold,a greatmultitudewhichno onecouldcount,from everynationand [all] tribesand peoplesand tongues,standingbeforethe throneand beforethe Lamb,clothedin whiterobes,and palm branches[were] in their hands;
