And He said,"Gointo the cityto a certain man,and sayto him, 'The Teachersays,"My timeis near;I [am to] keepthe Passoverat your house with My disciples."'"
"Ifanyonesaysanythingto you, you shall say,'The Lordhasneedof them,' and immediatelyhe will sendthem."
"Do not be calledleaders;for Oneis your Leader,[that is], Christ.
"But do not be calledRabbi;for Oneis your Teacher,and you are allbrothers.
The disciplesdidas Jesushad directedthem; and they preparedthe Passover.
"You knowthat aftertwodaysthe Passoveris coming,and the Sonof Manis [to be] handedover for crucifixion."
ImmediatelyJudas wentto Jesusand said,"Hail,Rabbi!"and kissedHim.
While He was stillspeaking,they camefrom the [house of] the synagogue official,saying,"Your daughterhas died;whytroublethe Teacheranymore?"
"While I was with you dailyin the temple,you did not layhandson Me; but thishourand the powerof darknessare yours."
When she had saidthis,she went awayand calledMaryher sister,sayingsecretly,"The Teacheris hereand is callingfor you."
And Jesusansweredthem, saying,"The hourhas comefor the Sonof Manto be glorified.
Nowbeforethe Feastof the Passover,Jesusknowingthat His hourhad comethat He would departout of thisworldto the Father,having lovedHis ownwhowere in the world,He lovedthem to the end.
Jesusspokethese things;and liftingup His eyesto heaven,He said,"Father,the hourhas come;glorifyYour Son,that the Sonmay glorifyYou,
Jesussaidto her, "Mary!"She turnedand saidto Him in Hebrew,"Rabboni!"(whichmeans,Teacher).
Sothey were seekingto seizeHim; and no manlaidhis handon Him, becauseHis hourhad not yetcome.
SoJesussaidto them, "My timeis not yethere,but your timeis alwaysopportune.
"Goup to the feastyourselves;I do not goup to thisfeastbecauseMy timehas not yetfully come."
