and respectful greetingsin the market places,and being calledRabbiby men.
"But to whatshall I comparethisgeneration?It is likechildrensittingin the market places,whocallout to the other[children],
"But do not be calledRabbi;for Oneis your Teacher,and you are allbrothers.
And Judas,who was betrayingHim, said,"Surelyit is not I, Rabbi?"Jesus said to him, "You have said[it] yourself."
ImmediatelyJudas wentto Jesusand said,"Hail,Rabbi!"and kissedHim.
And answeringhim, Jesussaid,"Whatdo you wantMe to dofor you?" And the blind mansaidto Him, "Rabboni,[I want] to regain my sight!"
Being reminded,Petersaidto Him, "Rabbi,look,the fig treewhichYou cursedhas withered."
In His teachingHe was saying:"Bewareof the scribeswho liketo walk aroundin long robes,and [like] respectful greetingsin the market places,
After coming,Judas immediatelywentto Him, saying,"Rabbi!"and kissedHim.
Petersaidto Jesus,"Rabbi,it is goodfor us to be here;let us makethreetabernacles,onefor You, and onefor Moses,and onefor Elijah."
"Woeto you Pharisees!For you lovethe chief seatsin the synagoguesand the respectful greetingsin the market places.
And Jesusturnedand sawthem following,and saidto them, "Whatdo you seek?"They saidto Him, "Rabbi(whichtranslatedmeansTeacher),whereare You staying?"
NathanaelansweredHim, "Rabbi,You are the Sonof God;You are the Kingof Israel."
The disciplessaidto Him, "Rabbi,the Jewswere just nowseekingto stoneYou, and are You goingthereagain?"
Jesussaidto her, "Mary!"She turnedand saidto Him in Hebrew,"Rabboni!"(whichmeans,Teacher).
this mancameto Jesus by nightand saidto Him, "Rabbi,we knowthat You have comefrom God[as] a teacher;for no onecandothesesignsthat You dounlessGodis with him."
And they cameto Johnand saidto him, "Rabbi,He whowas with you beyondthe Jordan,to whomyou have testified,behold,He is baptizingand allare comingto Him."
Meanwhilethe discipleswere urgingHim, saying,"Rabbi,eat."
Whenthey foundHim on the other sideof the sea,they saidto Him, "Rabbi,whendid You gethere?"
And His disciplesaskedHim, "Rabbi,whosinned,this manorhis parents,that he would be bornblind?"
