"When he had agreedwith the laborersfor a denariusfor the day,he sentthem into his vineyard.
"It will comeabout when I leaveyou that the Spiritof the LORDwill carryyou whereI do not know;so when I comeand tellAhaband he cannotfindyou, he will killme, although [I] your servanthave fearedthe LORDfrom my youth.
For in the eighthyearof his reignwhile he was stilla youth,he beganto seekthe Godof his fatherDavid;and in the twelfthyearhe beganto purgeJudahand Jerusalemof the highplaces,the Asherim,the carvedimagesand the moltenimages.
Rememberalso your Creatorin the daysof your youth,beforethe evildayscomeand the yearsdrawnearwhenyou will say,"I havenodelightin them";
"But that slavewentout and foundoneof his fellow slaveswhoowedhim a hundreddenarii;and he seizedhim and [began] to choke[him], saying,'Pay backwhatyou owe.'
"For the kingdomof heavenis likea landownerwhowentout earlyin the morningto hirelaborersfor his vineyard.
"But he answeredand saidto oneof them, 'Friend,I am doingyou nowrong;did you not agreewith me for a denarius?
"And he wentout aboutthe thirdhourand sawothersstandingidlein the market place;
"Whenthose[hired] aboutthe eleventhhourcame,each onereceiveda denarius.
"ShowMe the coin[used] for the poll-tax."And they broughtHim a denarius.
ThenHe saidto His disciples,"The harvestis plentiful,but the workersare few.
"Shall we payorshall we not pay?"But He, knowingtheir hypocrisy,saidto them, "Whyare you testingMe? BringMe a denariusto lookat."
"For he will be greatin the sightof the Lord;and he will drinknowineorliquor,and he will be filledwith the HolySpiritwhile yetin his mother'swomb.
"On the next dayhe tookout twodenariiand gavethem to the innkeeperand said,'Take careof him; and whatevermore you spend,whenI returnI will repayyou.'
"ShowMe a denarius.Whoselikenessand inscriptiondoes it have?"They said,"Caesar's."
and that from childhoodyou have knownthe sacredwritingswhich are ableto give you the wisdomthat leadsto salvationthroughfaithwhich is in ChristJesus.
And I heard[something] likea voicein the centerof the fourliving creaturessaying,"A quartof wheatfor a denarius,and threequartsof barleyfor a denarius;and do not damagethe oiland the wine."
Now Samuelwas ministeringbeforethe LORD,[as] a boywearinga linenephod.
Now the boySamuelwas growingin statureand in favorbothwith the LORDand with men.
Now the boySamuelwas ministeringto the LORDbeforeEli.And wordfrom the LORDwas rarein thosedays,visionswere infrequent.
And the LORDappearedagainat Shiloh,becausethe LORDrevealedHimself to Samuelat Shilohby the wordof the LORD.
