And someonecameto Him and said,"Teacher,whatgood thingshall I dothat I may obtaineternallife?"
keepyourselvesin the loveof God,waiting anxiouslyfor the mercyof our LordJesusChristto eternallife.
sothat whoeverbelieveswill in Him haveeternallife.
And we knowthat the Sonof Godhas come,and has givenus understandingsothat we may knowHim whois true;and we are in Him who is true,in His SonJesusChrist.Thisis the true Godand eternallife.
and the lifewas manifested,and we have seenand testifyand proclaimto you the eternallife,whichwas with the Fatherand was manifestedto us--
"Thesewill go awayinto eternalpunishment,but the righteousinto eternallife."
sothat being justifiedby His gracewe would be madeheirsaccordingto [the] hopeof eternallife.
Thisis the promisewhichHe Himselfmadeto us: eternallife.
in the hopeof eternallife,whichGod,who cannot lie,promisedlong agesago,
storingup for themselvesthe treasureof a goodfoundationfor the future,sothat they may take holdof that which is lifeindeed.
Fightthe goodfightof faith;take holdof the eternallifeto whichyou were called,and you madethe goodconfessionin the presenceof manywitnesses.
and after he broughtthem out, he said,"Sirs,whatmustI doto be saved?"
sothat, as sinreignedin death,evensogracewould reignthroughrighteousnessto eternallifethroughJesusChristour Lord.
to thosewho by perseverancein doinggoodseekfor gloryand honorand immortality,eternallife;
"He who loveshis lifelosesit, and he who hateshis lifein thisworldwill keepit to lifeeternal.
and I giveeternallifeto them, and they will neverperish;and noonewill snatchthem out of My hand.
SimonPeteransweredHim, "Lord,to whomshall we go?You havewordsof eternallife.
"Truly,truly,I sayto you, he who believeshaseternallife.
"You searchthe Scripturesbecauseyou thinkthat in them you haveeternallife;it is thesethat testifyaboutMe;
but whoeverdrinksof the waterthat I will givehim shall neverthirst;but the waterthat I will givehim will becomein him a wellof waterspringingup to eternallife."
"And everyonewhohas lefthousesorbrothersorsistersorfatherormotherorchildrenorfarmsfor My name'ssake,will receivemany times as much,and will inheriteternallife.
"Manyof those whosleepin the dustof the groundwill awake,theseto everlastinglife,but the othersto disgrace[and] everlastingcontempt.
Yetfor thisreasonI found mercy,sothat in me as the foremost,JesusChristmight demonstrateHis perfectpatienceas an examplefor thosewho wouldbelievein Him for eternallife.
And lookingat [them] Jesussaidto them, "With peoplethisis impossible,but with Godall thingsare possible."
After layingHis handson them, He departedfrom there.
