"WhatI tellyou in the darkness,speakin the light;and whatyou hear[whispered] in [your] ear,proclaimupon the housetops.

"Whoeveris on the housetopmust not go downto getthe things out that are in his house.
"Accordingly,whateveryou have saidin the darkwill be heardin the light,and whatyou have whisperedin the inner roomswill be proclaimedupon the housetops.
And He said,"To you it has been grantedto knowthe mysteriesof the kingdomof God,but to the rest[it is] in parables,sothat SEEINGTHEY MAY NOT SEE,AND HEARINGTHEY MAY NOT UNDERSTAND.
"These thingsI have spokento you sothat you may be keptfrom stumbling.
"But whenHe, the Spiritof truth,comes,He will guideyou into allthe truth;for He will not speakon His own initiative,but whateverHe hears,He will speak;and He will discloseto you what is to come.
"These thingsI have spokento you in figurativelanguage;an houris comingwhenI will no longerspeakto you in figurative language,but will tellyou plainlyof the Father.
His disciplessaid,"Lo,nowYou are speakingplainlyand are not usinga figure of speech.
Sohe was reasoningin the synagoguewith the Jewsand the God-fearing[Gentiles], and in the market placeeverydaywith thosewho happened to be present.
"Go,standand speakto the peoplein the templethe wholemessageof thisLife."
saying,"We gaveyou strict ordersnot to continue teachingin thisname,and yet,you have filledJerusalemwith your teachingand intendto bringthisman'sbloodupon us."
Thereforehavingsucha hope,we usegreatboldness in [our] speech,
