Jesus summonedHis twelvedisciplesand gavethem authorityover uncleanspirits,to castthem out, and to healeverykindof diseaseand every kindof sickness.
And Jesussaidto them, "TrulyI sayto you, that you who have followedMe, in the regenerationwhenthe Sonof Manwill siton His gloriousthrone,you alsoshall situpon twelvethrones,judgingthe twelvetribesof Israel.
Nowwhen eveningcame,Jesus was reclining[at the table] with the twelvedisciples.
While He was stillspeaking,behold,Judas,oneof the twelve,cameup accompaniedby a largecrowdwith swordsand clubs,[who came] from the chief priestsand eldersof the people.
Jesus was going throughoutallGalilee,teachingin their synagoguesand proclaimingthe gospelof the kingdom,and healingeverykindof diseaseand every kindof sicknessamongthe people.
And do not leadus into temptation,but deliverus from evil.[For Yoursis the kingdomand the powerand the gloryforever.Amen].'
Jesuswas going throughallthe citiesand villages,teachingin their synagoguesand proclaimingthe gospelof the kingdom,and healingeverykindof diseaseand every kindof sickness.
"Thereforebeseechthe Lordof the harvestto sendout workersinto His harvest."
"Behold,I have givenyou authorityto treadon serpentsand scorpions,and overallthe powerof the enemy,and nothingwill injureyou.
for I will giveyou utteranceand wisdomwhichnoneof your opponentswill be ableto resistorrefute.
"And behold,I am sending forththe promiseof My Fatherupon you; but you are to stayin the cityuntilyou are clothedwith powerfrom on high."
And whendaycame,He calledHis disciplesto Him and chosetwelveof them, whomHe alsonamedas apostles:
evenas You gaveHim authorityover allflesh,that to allwhomYou have givenHim, He may giveeternallife.
Johnansweredand said,"A mancanreceivenothingunlessit has beengivenhim from heaven.
"The Fatherlovesthe Sonand has givenall thingsinto His hand.
Jesusansweredthem, "Did I Myselfnot chooseyou, the twelve,and [yet] oneof you is a devil?"
but you will receivepowerwhen the HolySpirithas comeupon you; and you shall be My witnessesbothin Jerusalem,and in allJudeaand Samaria,and evento the remotest partof the earth."
And the evilspiritansweredand saidto them, "I recognizeJesus,and I know aboutPaul,but whoare you?"
A greatsignappearedin heaven:a womanclothedwith the sun,and the moonunderher feet,and on her heada crownof twelvestars;
