They were utterlyastonished,saying,"He has doneall thingswell;He makeseventhe deafto hearand the muteto speak."
Godsawallthat He had made,and behold,it was verygood.And there was eveningand there was morning,the sixthday.
I will givethanksto You, for I am fearfullyand wonderfullymade; Wonderfulare Your works,And my soulknowsit verywell.
On that daythe deafwill hearwordsof a book,And out of [their] gloomand darknessthe eyesof the blindwill see.
As they were goingout, a mute,demon-possessedmanwas broughtto Him.
They were allamazed,sothat they debatedamong themselves,saying,"Whatis this?A newteachingwith authority!He commandseventhe uncleanspirits,and they obeyHim."
And he gotup and immediatelypickedup the palletand wentout in the sightof everyone,sothat they were allamazedand were glorifyingGod,saying,"We have neverseenanything like this."
They became very muchafraidand saidto one another,"Whothenis this,that eventhe windand the seaobeyHim?"
Immediatelythe girlgotup and [began] to walk,for she was twelveyearsold. And immediatelythey were completelyastounded.
ThenHe gotinto the boatwith them, and the windstopped;and they were utterlyastonished,
And He gavethem ordersnot to tellanyone;but the moreHe orderedthem, the morewidelythey continued to proclaimit.
In thosedays,when there was againa largecrowdand they hadnothingto eat,Jesus calledHis disciplesand saidto them,
"And we indeed[are suffering] justly,for we are receivingwhatwe deservefor our deeds;but this manhas donenothingwrong."
When the crowdssawwhatPaulhad done,they raisedtheir voice,sayingin the Lycaonian language,"The godshave become likemenand have come downto us."
