They became very muchafraidand saidto one another,"Whothenis this,that eventhe windand the seaobeyHim?"
And I said,'Thusfaryou shall come,but nofarther;And hereshall your proudwavesstop'?
A Godgreatlyfearedin the councilof the holyones,And awesomeaboveallthose who are aroundHim?
"My covenantwith him was [one of] lifeand peace,and I gavethem to him [as an object of] reverence;so he reveredMe and stoodin aweof My name.
When they gotinto the boat,the windstopped.
The menwere amazed,and said,"What kindof a manis this,that eventhe windsand the seaobeyHim?"
And He saidto them, "Whyare you afraid?Do you stillhavenofaith?"
They cameto the other sideof the sea,into the countryof the Gerasenes.
But the womanfearingand trembling,awareof whathad happenedto her, cameand fell down beforeHim and toldHim the wholetruth.
They were utterlyastonished,saying,"He has doneall thingswell;He makeseventhe deafto hearand the muteto speak."
And amazementcameupon them all,and they [began] talkingwith one anothersaying,"Whatis thismessage?For with authorityand powerHe commandsthe uncleanspiritsand they comeout."
And He saidto them, "Whereis your faith?"They were fearfuland amazed,sayingto one another,"Whothenis this,that He commandseventhe windsand the water,and they obeyHim?"
Therefore,since we receivea kingdomwhich cannot be shaken,let us showgratitude,by whichwe may offerto Godan acceptableservicewith reverenceand awe;
"Whowill not fear,O Lord,and glorifyYour name?For You aloneare holy;For ALLTHE NATIONSWILL COMEAND WORSHIPBEFOREYOU, FOR YOUR RIGHTEOUS ACTSHAVE BEEN REVEALED."
"Onlyfearthe LORDand serveHim in truthwith allyour heart;for considerwhatgreatthingsHe has donefor you.
