And He tookwith Him Peterand Jamesand John,and beganto be very distressedand troubled.
My lovedones and my friendsstandalooffrom my plague;And my kinsmenstandafaroff.
But the LORDwas pleasedTo crushHim, putting[Him] to grief;IfHe would renderHimself[as] a guiltoffering,He will see[His] offspring,He will prolong[His] days,And the goodpleasureof the LORDwill prosperin His hand.
Enteringthe tomb,they sawa young mansittingat the right,wearinga whiterobe;and they were amazed.
And he saidto them, "Do not be amazed;you are lookingfor Jesusthe Nazarene,who has been crucified.He has risen;He is not here;behold,[here is] the placewherethey laidHim.
And He allowednooneto accompanyHim, exceptPeterand Jamesand Johnthe brotherof James.
Immediately,when the entirecrowdsawHim, they were amazedand [began] runningup to greetHim.
Sixdayslater,Jesustookwith Him Peterand Jamesand John,and broughtthem up on a highmountainby themselves.And He was transfiguredbeforethem;
And beingin agonyHe was prayingveryfervently;and His sweatbecamelikedropsof blood,falling downupon the ground.
In the daysof His flesh,He offeredup bothprayersand supplicationswith loudcryingand tearsto the One ableto saveHim from death,and He was heardbecauseof His piety.
