Amaziahsaidto the manof God,"But what[shall we] dofor the hundredtalentswhichI have givento the troopsof Israel?"And the manof Godanswered,"The LORDhasmuchmoreto giveyou thanthis."
For the LORDGodis a sunand shield;The LORDgivesgraceand glory;Nogoodthingdoes He withholdfrom those who walkuprightly.
Howmuch betterit is to getwisdomthangold!And to getunderstandingis to be chosenabovesilver.

"But seekfirstHis kingdomand His righteousness,and allthese thingswill be addedto you.

But aboutmidnightPauland Silaswere prayingand singing hymns of praiseto God,and the prisonerswere listeningto them;
Sothey went on their wayfrom the presenceof the Council,rejoicingthat they had been considered worthyto suffershamefor [His] name.
And not onlythis, but we alsoexultin our tribulations,knowingthat tribulationbrings aboutperseverance;
For the wagesof sinis death,but the free giftof Godis eternallifein ChristJesusour Lord.
as sorrowfulyetalwaysrejoicing,as pooryetmakingmanyrich,as havingnothingyetpossessingall things.
More thanthat, I countallthingsto be lossin viewof the surpassing valueof knowingChristJesusmy Lord,for whomI have suffered the lossof all things,and countthem but rubbishsothat I may gainChrist,
Nowmay our LordJesusChristHimselfand Godour Father,who has lovedus and givenus eternalcomfortand goodhopeby grace,
for bodilydisciplineis only of littleprofit,but godlinessis profitablefor all things,since it holdspromisefor the presentlifeand [also] for the [life] to come.
But godliness[actually] is a meansof greatgainwhen accompaniedby contentment.
Blessedis a manwhoperseveresunder trial;for once he has beenapproved,he will receivethe crownof lifewhich[the Lord] has promisedto thosewho loveHim.
We countthoseblessedwho endured.You have heardof the enduranceof Joband have seenthe outcomeof the Lord'sdealings, that the Lordis full of compassionand [is] merciful.
Thisis the promisewhichHe Himselfmadeto us: eternallife.
Seehow greata lovethe Fatherhas bestowedon us, that we would be calledchildrenof God;and [such] we are. For thisreasonthe worlddoes not knowus, becauseit did not knowHim.
I knowyour tribulationand your poverty(but you are rich),and the blasphemyby thosewho saythey are Jewsand are not, but are a synagogueof Satan.
I adviseyou to buyfrom Me goldrefinedby firesothat you may become rich,and whitegarmentssothat you may clotheyourself, and [that] the shameof your nakednesswill not be revealed;and eye salveto anointyour eyessothat you may see.
