They were allamazed,sothat they debatedamong themselves,saying,"Whatis this?A newteachingwith authority!He commandseventhe uncleanspirits,and they obeyHim."
Sothe crowdmarveledas they sawthe mutespeaking,the crippledrestored,and the lamewalking,and the blindseeing;and they glorifiedthe Godof Israel.
"For I alsoama manunderauthority,with soldiersunderme; and I sayto this one,'Go!'and he goes,and to another,'Come!'and he comes,and to my slave,'Dothis!'and he does[it]."
After the demonwas castout, the mute manspoke;and the crowdswere amazed,[and were] saying,"Nothinglike thishas everbeen seenin Israel."
Throwing him into convulsions,the uncleanspiritcriedout with a loudvoiceand cameout of him.
Immediatelythe newsabout Him spreadeverywhereinto allthe surrounding districtof Galilee.
The discipleswere amazedat His words.But Jesusansweredagainand saidto them, "Children,howhardit is to enterthe kingdomof God!
They were on the roadgoingup to Jerusalem,and Jesuswas walking on aheadof them; and they were amazed,and thosewho followedwere fearful.And againHe tookthe twelveasideand beganto tellthem whatwas goingto happento Him,
Enteringthe tomb,they sawa young mansittingat the right,wearinga whiterobe;and they were amazed.
And he saidto them, "Do not be amazed;you are lookingfor Jesusthe Nazarene,who has been crucified.He has risen;He is not here;behold,[here is] the placewherethey laidHim.
They were utterlyastonished,saying,"He has doneall thingswell;He makeseventhe deafto hearand the muteto speak."
And amazementcameupon them all,and they [began] talkingwith one anothersaying,"Whatis thismessage?For with authorityand powerHe commandsthe uncleanspiritsand they comeout."
And He calledthe twelvetogether,and gavethem powerand authorityoverallthe demonsand to healdiseases.
And they tookhim and broughthim to the Areopagus,saying,"Maywe knowwhatthisnewteachingis which you are proclaiming?
