Theseare [the records of] the generationsof Noah.Noahwas a righteousman,blamelessin his time;Noahwalkedwith God.
Your righteousnessis an everlastingrighteousness,And Your lawis truth.
You are near,O LORD,And allYour commandmentsare truth.
The mouthof the righteousutterswisdom,And his tonguespeaksjustice.
Markthe blamelessman,and beholdthe upright;For the manof peacewill have a posterity.
That you may observediscretionAnd your lipsmay reserveknowledge.
"But ifthey had stoodin My council,Then they would have announcedMy wordsto My people,And would have turnedthem backfrom their evilwayAnd from the evilof their deeds.
"Those who haveinsightwill shinebrightlylike the brightnessof the expanseof heaven,and those who leadthe manyto righteousness,like the starsforeverand ever.
My peopleare destroyedfor lackof knowledge.Becauseyou have rejectedknowledge,I also will rejectyou from being My priest.Since you have forgottenthe lawof your God,I alsowill forgetyour children.
And they senttheir disciplesto Him, along with the Herodians,saying,"Teacher,we knowthat You are truthfuland teachthe wayof Godin truth,and deferto no one;for You are not partialto any.

They were bothrighteousin the sightof God,walkingblamelesslyin allthe commandmentsand requirementsof the Lord.

"They shall teachYour ordinancesto Jacob,And Your lawto Israel.They shall putincensebeforeYou, And wholeburntofferingson Your altar.
Of Levihe said,"[Let] Your Thummimand Your Urim[belong] to Your godlyman,WhomYou provedat Massah,With whom You contendedat the watersof Meribah;
Who saidof his fatherand his mother,'I did not considerthem'; And he did not acknowledgehis brothers,Nordid he regardhis own sons,For they observedYour word,And keptYour covenant.
And noliewas foundin their mouth;they are blameless.
