And He closedthe book,gave it backto the attendantand sat down;and the eyesof allin the synagoguewere fixedon Him.
At that timeJesussaidto the crowds,"Have you comeout with swordsand clubsto arrestMe as [you would] againsta robber?EverydayI used to sitin the templeteachingand you did not seizeMe.
and laidit in his own newtomb,whichhe had hewnout in the rock;and he rolleda largestoneagainst the entranceof the tomband went away.
and they could not findanythingthat they might do,for allthe peoplewere hangingon to everyword He said.
And the bookof the prophetIsaiahwas handedto Him. And He openedthe bookand foundthe placewhereit was written,
And He beganto sayto them, "TodaythisScripturehas been fulfilledin your hearing."
And He gotinto oneof the boats,whichwas Simon's,and askedhim to putout a little wayfrom the land.And He sat downand [began] teachingthe peoplefrom the boat.
Early in the morningHe cameagaininto the temple,and allthe peoplewere comingto Him; and He sat downand [began] to teachthem.
And on the Sabbathdaywe wentoutsidethe gateto a riverside,wherewe were supposingthat there would be a place of prayer;and we sat downand began speakingto the womenwho had assembled.
But when Petersaw[this], he repliedto the people,"Menof Israel,whyare you amazedat this,orwhydo you gazeat us, as ifby our ownpowerorpietywe had madehim walk?
