The inscriptionof the charge againstHim read,"THE KINGOF THE JEWS."
And aboveHis headthey putup the charge againstHim which read,"THISIS JESUSTHE KINGOF THE JEWS."
SoPilateaskedHim, saying,"Are You the Kingof the Jews?"And He answeredhim and said,"[It is as] you say."
"Let [this] Christ,the Kingof Israel,nowcome downfrom the cross,sothat we may seeand believe!"Thosewho were crucifiedwith Him were alsoinsultingHim.
and they [began] to comeup to Him and say,"Hail,Kingof the Jews!"and to giveHim slaps[in the face].
and they beganto acclaimHim, "Hail,Kingof the Jews!"
NowJesusstoodbeforethe governor,and the governorquestionedHim, saying,"Are You the Kingof the Jews?"And Jesussaidto him, "[It is as] you say."
"Whereis He who has been bornKingof the Jews?For we sawHis starin the eastand have cometo worshipHim."
