They said,"Lord,look,hereare twoswords."And He saidto them, "It is enough."
And behold,oneof thosewhowere with Jesusreachedand drewout his sword,and struckthe slaveof the high priestand cut offhis ear.
And He saidto them, "But now,whoeverhasa money beltis to takeit along, likewisealsoa bag,and whoeverhasnoswordis to sellhis coatand buyone.
When thosewhowere aroundHim sawwhat was going to happen,they said,"Lord,shall we strikewith the sword?"
Jesusanswered,"My kingdomis not of thisworld.IfMy kingdomwere of thisworld,then My servantswould be fightingsothat I would not be handedover to the Jews;but as it is, My kingdomis not of this realm."
But since we are of [the] day,let us be sober,having puton the breastplateof faithand love,and as a helmet,the hopeof salvation.
But resisthim, firmin [your] faith,knowingthat the sameexperiencesof sufferingare being accomplishedby your brethrenwho are in the world.
